Calendar
Create a Public Calendar & Schedule Events
Google Calendar can be used to create and share public calendars that can help with scheduling events, viewing availability and collaborating on projects. You can also import calendars from the Internet to add events to your own personal calendar like holidays or special dates. When you create an event, you can also create a unique Google Meet meeting right from Calendar to use during your event.
For this project, you will create a public calendar and schedule a meeting with a friend or family member:
- Create a public Google Calendar.
- Add events for the next two weeks to your Google Calendar and add titles and descriptions for each event.
- Create an event to meet with a friend or family member (or you can use your instructor if you prefer).
- Add a Google Meet meeting to the event.
- Add your friend, family member or instructor as a guest.
- Embed your Calendar in a new blog post for Google Calendar. Your calendar should be set to agenda (not monthly, weekly or daily).
- Include a written or video reflection of the following questions in your post:
- What features of Google Meet & Calendar optimize workflow through integration?
- How could this functionality be used in professional and/or educational settings?
Comment below with a link to your post.
